Side : Day Trip To Alanya with Cable Car and Hotel Pickup

On this Alanya day trip from Side, you ride the cable car to the castle, visit Damlataş Cave and get free time at Cleopatra Beach. Leave Side behind for a day and see the town crowned by a Seljuk fortress above the sea.
After hotel pickup in the Side area, you drive east along the coast for about an hour. In Alanya you start at the harbor with the Red Tower (Kızıl Kule), the octagonal 13th-century tower that became the symbol of the town. Next to it you see the old Seljuk shipyard.
Then you ride the cable car up to Alanya Castle. From the top you look out over Cleopatra Beach and the peninsula, and you can walk the old walls and the narrow lanes of the castle quarter.
Back at sea level, you step inside Damlataş Cave and see its dripping stalactites. The day ends with free time at Cleopatra Beach or in the town center, where you can shop or have a coffee by the harbor before the drive back to Side.
